New Manitoba first aid kit requirements (CSA Z1220-17)

According to Manitoba's Workplace Safety and Health Act an employer must provide and keep readily accessible the type, size, and number of first aid kits meeting the requirements set out in "CSA Z1220-17, First aid kits for the workplace".

• 26-50 workers per shift requires a CSA Type 2 Basic First Aid Kit - Medium (26-50 Workers).
• 51-100 workers per shift requires a CSA Type 2 Basic First Aid Kit - Large (51-100 Workers).

For High Risk Workplace Environment with

• 2-25 workers per shift requires a CSA Type 3 Intermediate First Aid Kit - Small (2-25 Workers).
• 26-50 workers per shift requires a CSA Type 3 Intermediate First Aid Kit - Medium (26-50 Workers).
• 51-100 workers per shift requires a CSA Type 3 Intermediate First Aid Kit - Large (51-100 Workers).
